Douglas Borough Council
Following a comprehensive tendering process that attracted both Island and UK based candidates, Douglas Borough Council were pleased to award the Virtualization contract to Synapse as a result of their excellent submission

Microgaming Software Systems Limited
Synapse Consulting worked with Microgaming Software Systems to redesign their server farm from the ground up on a highly available consolidated platform with integrated disaster recovery based on EMC and VMware. The solution significantly reduced the amount of rack space Microgaming use in their Isle of Man headquarters with the added benefit of a major reduction in the server room cooling and power requirements. This move allowed higher performance and added functionality as a result of such an advanced virtual infrastructure.

The relationship with Synapse and their in-depth knowledge and understanding of EMC and VMware has helped to ensure a seamless transition both in terms of the technology upgrade, and knowledge transfer to the Microgaming internal IT team.
