Synapse360 have a proven approach methodology for the undertaking of Virtualisation, Storage or Backup solutions. The process involves six steps that ensure the correct level of consideration is taken for every stage in the implementation process.

Approach

ASSESS - PLAN & DESIGN - BUILD - MIGRATE - MANAGE - SUPPORT

  1. The Assess stage involves the undertaking of the data assessments. Once this information is gathered it is used to form a high level design that incorporates all of the information obtained whilst meeting business and technical goals and objectives of the project which is presented as part of the formal proposal.
  2. The Plan & Design stage is paramount in ensuring that the project is scheduled and designed with the input of all key stakeholders who are expected to participate in design workshop sessions. Design workshop sessions are not only used to not only discuss the technical aspects of the solution but to also consider other elements such as risks, constraints, timeframes and company policies also associated with the implementation and migration.
  3. The Build stage follows the design blueprints and schedule that was formed as part of the previous stage and implements the platform for the solution. Due to the careful planning and consideration in the previous stages including the input from key stakeholders the build stage is a considered, well planned and expected process.
  4. The migration stages occur only when the build stage is completed and acceptance tests have been approved. The migration strategy and schedule agreed during the Design and Planning stages is executed.
  5. The manage stage ensures that operational handover is performed and that infrastructure and support teams are enabled with the correct knowledge and documentation to operate the environment moving forwards.
  6.
